2014 Rotary “Back to School activities in Cebu , Philippines.

John and Cora thanked us for supporting the international charity "Sleeping Children Around the World” (SCAW) which supplies a bed, school uniforms and school supplies with a back pack to young children in underdeveloped countries.   John explained that for many children - only through our assisting with these most basic  needs, are children able to attend school.    A friend of Rotary in-country identifies the children and family needs. The bed, backpacks and uniforms are made in country - further supporting that economy and maximizing effectiveness of aid dollars. World wide 83% of Rotary funds raised are delivered as actual aid in-county – a feat unparalleled by any other charity.
