The 2025 Recipients of the Dr. Gordon C. Watts Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship
Established by The Rotary Club of Simcoe in 2012, as a way to remember and honour our water colour painting Rotarian.
Amber McKnight, Administrator/Chair Dr. Gordon C. Watts Memorial Fine Arts Scholarship, Bria Swance graduating from Delhi District Secondary School and attending Fine Art at Nipissing University, Fiona Nykamp graduating from Waterford District High School attending Studio Art at University of Guelph, and Emma Adams graduating from Holy Trinity attending Art Fundamentals at Sheridan College, and Sandy Watts, son of Dr. Gord Watts
Not present is Maeve Henderson who is graduating from SCS and taking Experimental Animation at OCAD University.
The Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Norfolk County secondary school student who is planning to study in an interdisciplinary fine arts program such as fine art, visual art, art history, graphic design, film, photography, animation, etc. at a recognized post-secondary institution.
