Jim Dover, Vice President of the Port Dover Waterfront Preservation Association (PDWPA).

Rejoice - the repairs to the dam on Silver Lake in Port Dover are completed. Jim spoke to us today. Phase two of the Silver Lake restoration project is being initiated
by the PDWPA - being removal of invasive  species, accumulated silt, restoration of natural habitat and community uses, making their efforts sustainable by creating silt traps to facilitate future maintenance. This involves consultation/application with four levels of government and enviromental agencies.
The scope of PDWPA is much more than Silver Lake alone. Their scope includes Port Dover's shores along Lake Erie  and into the Lynn River and Black Creek areas within Port Dover - interested? Visit PDWPA https://portdoverwaterfront.ca/
